All 9 Detroit Lions draft picks in 2026 NFL Draft
The Detroit Lions are aiming to fill some roster holes heading into the 2026 season.
The 2026 NFL Draft will take place from Thursday, April 23, to Saturday, April 25, in Pittsburgh . Day 1 of the draft starts on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised on the NFL Network, ABC, ESPN and in Spanish on ESPN Deportes, with streaming available on Fubo .
Days 2 and 3 will take place on Friday, April 24, and Saturday, April 25. Day 2 will start at 7 p.m. ET and feature rounds 2-3, while Day 3 will start at noon ET and feature rounds 4-7.

The Lions , who finished 9-8 in 2025, have the No. 17 overall pick in the first round of the draft. That's the highest draft slot they have had since drafting running back Jahmyr Gibbs with the No. 12 overall selection in 2023.

Detroit currently has nine picks overall, with one first-round pick, one second-round pick, two fourth-round picks, two fifth-round picks, two sixth-round picks and one seventh round pick. The Lions currently have no third-round picks after trading two of them to the Jacksonville Jaguars for the right to select wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa in the third round in the 2025 draft.

The Lions traded both of their 2026 third-rounders, including a compensatory pick for defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn getting hired as the coach of the New York Jets , to trade up for receiver Isaac TeSlaa in the 2025 draft. Detroit also got an extra 2026 sixth-round pick in the deal.
The Lions received their extra fourth-round pick from the trade that sent running back David Montgomery to the Houston Texans . Detroit got a compensatory pick in the fifth round after offensive lineman Kevin Zeitler left in free agency ahead of the 2025 season.
Detroit got another sixth-round pick in the trade that sent wide receiver Tim Patrick to the Jaguars . Lastly, the Lions got their seventh-round pick from the Cleveland Browns in a 2024 deadline deal that sent pass rusher Za'Darius Smith to Cleveland.
