Aaron Rodgers ’ wrist fracture won’t keep him sidelined long-term.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters the quarterback was a full participant in Friday’s practice and will play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills .
“All systems go,”Tomlin said, via Pittsburgh Tribune-Review’s Chris Adamski.
Rodgers suffered a small wrist fracture against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11 that kept him out of Pittsburgh’s Week 12 loss to the Bears . The 41-year-old was “ pushing to play ” against Chicago but wasn’t cleared by doctors.
Mason Rudolph filled in for the inured Rodgers against the Bears and went 24-of-31 for 171 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
The Steelers are 6-5 and atop the AFC North going into Sunday’s game. The Bills, meanwhile, are 7-4 and behind the first-place New England Patriots .
