Victor Wembanyama had a dominant night with the San Antonio Spurs against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The French superstar scored 43 points and recorded seven rebounds and four assists to help his side beat the Wolves 121-111.
Wembanyama's brilliance, unfortunately, came against his compatriot Joan Beringer, who was dejected after the game by the way he handled his fellow Frenchman.
However, the Spurs star's comments about him should cheer him up a bit.
Beringer has earned a lot of praise already this season.
The 19-year-old was hailed as 'amazing' by LaMelo Ball after the Halloween night defeat, while some of his other teammates have heaped praise on him this season as well.
However, the biggest one yet may have now arrived from Wembanyama, who is undoubtedly the most popular basketball player in Beringer's home country of France.
The Spurs star revealed that he has heard all about Beringer's work ethic and humility, which have convinced him about a great future for the teenager in the NBA.
Wembanyama said in his press conference : "He acts like a player who knows what it takes to stay and last in the league.
"From what I hear, he has a good work ethic, real seriousness, and humility. He has a great future."
Beringer has played his part for the Minnesota Timberwolves already this season and even scored 12 points in the defeat to the San Antonio Spurs.
Still only 19, Beringer has a lot of room to develop, and if Wembanyama's information about his 'work ethic, seriousness and humility' is true, he is sure to make a great name for himself in the NBA.
