Adam Vinatieri stole the show during last week's Hall of Fame induction with his hilarious speech.
Unfortunately, there were some noteworthy absentees from the ceremony, which included the likes of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.
The former kicker played 24 seasons in the NFL across stints with the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts.
Despite his speech winning the evening in Canton, it was the absence of the two Patriots figureheads that really caught people's attention.
A lot of arguments have been made in recent days for and against Brady and Belichick, but Vinatieri has finally set the record straight.

Over recent days, Brady has been spotted on a yacht in Europe with his family as he has been celebrating his birthday.
However, Vinatieri made it clear that both Brady and Belichick had been in contact with him over his induction into the Hall of Fame.
"Coach Belichick reached out to me months ago, letting me know, "Hey, I'm sorry, I can't make it. Camp's going on and all that," said Vinatieri.
"Tom called me beforehand and said, "I've got this family vacation that I lined up months and months ago, and I just really can't get out of it."
"And you know what? The very first message I got at 7:00 in the morning – after a party that ended at 3:00am was from Brady. He was like, "Man, that was awesome. You stole the show. It was really, really cool. I hope you have a hangover."
"We were just bantering back and forth. So, like I said before, there is zero animosity. I love all those guys."
It is clear to see that Vinatieri has enjoyed himself over the last week as he has continued his joking manner beyond his speech in Canton.
Despite Brady and Belichick not being in attendance, there were still a number of famous faces there for Vinatieri.
One of them was Pat McAfee, whom Vinatieri called out during his speech, which even made Brady laugh over in Europe.
Although Brady was not there, it is great to hear that the former quarterback still managed to get in contact in the hours following Vinatieri's induction.
