"in me and on me 🫦#szndumpp1," Carrington's caption read.
Powers was among those who reacted to her post, leaving an enthusiastic three-emoji comment.
"😍 😍 😍," Powers wrote.
A few other players from around the WNBA also dropped their reactions in the comments section.
"in you, on you.. bout you🤭" wrote Carrington's rumored partner, Jackie Young from the Las Vegas Aces.

"yuppp🤏🏽😍" Carrington's Sky teammate Sydney Taylor said.
"❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥" commented Phoenix Mercury forward Maddy Westbeld.
Carrington returned to action this season after recovering from a left foot injury she suffered in September 2025.
She played 11 games with the Sky and averaged 8.8 points and 3.1 rebounds off the bench. However, persistent issues on the same left foot forced her to sit out the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, Powers, the fifth overall pick in the 2016 WNBA Draft, last played in the league in 2025 with Indiana. She averaged 9.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in eight games before becoming a free agent.

Though Powers and Carrington didn't play together in the WNBA, the former's support and connection with other players in the league remain evident.
Powers' most recent notable career move was suiting up for Team USA's 3×3 team in August. The 2019 WNBA champion played alongside Taylor Bigby, Mikayla Blakes and Madison Scott at the FIBA 3×3 Women's Series legs in Tokyo, Bordeaux and Debrecen.
Their best finish in this stretch was the Bordeaux leg, where they placed third and went 3-1. Powers' best performance came during the Debrecen leg, where she scored nine points in one game.
