The Pittsburgh Steelers have their eyes on wide receivers in the 2026 NFL Draft, but so does just about every other team in the league — including a division rival.
According to John Sabol of Fox 8 News , the Cleveland Browns hosted Arizona State wideout Jordyn Tyson on a Top 30 visit this week. Tyson is one of the top wide receivers in the class, expected to go early in the first round, and the Steelers have expressed their interest through the draft cycle.
Tyson, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 203 pounds, met with the Steelers at the NFL Scouting Combine and called Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy "a legend in Dallas ." His redshirt junior season with the Sun Devils was cut short by a hamstring injury, and he missed on-field testing in Indianapolis .
He's coming off an injury-plagued season, but he still hauled in 61 receptions for 711 yards with eight touchdowns. He was even better as a redshirt sophomore in 2024, securing 75 targets for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns.

While Tyson is an elite prospect who has flashed game-breaking ability at both Colorado and Arizona State, his availability has been shaky at the college level, to say the least. He suffered a major knee injury during his time with Colorado in 2022, tearing his ACL, MCL and PCL. He's also missed time due to collarbone and hamstring injuries.
Still, Tyson is an elite prospect and will have a chance to compete on the field at the Big 12 Pro Day later this month.
The Steelers, as it stands right now, have the 21st pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. While there's speculation that they could move up in pursuit of a top target, which very well could be a wide receiver, nothing has materialized yet. And the Steelers met with more than a few wideouts during the NFL Combine last month, including Tyson, Ohio State's Carnell Tate , USC's Makai Lemon , Washington 's Denzel Boston and Texas A&M's KC Concepcion. The Steelers will host top targets for Top 30 visits of their own up until the draft in April.
