The junior was entering his third season in Tuscaloosa considered among Alabama 's potential breakout candidates in the preseason along the defensive line. Beaman missed all but one game last year due to a season-ending injury , which he suffered in practice following the Crimson Tide 's Week 1 loss at Florida State.
A former in-state recruit, Beaman was considered as a Top 100 prospect nationally in the Crimson Tide's 2024 class out of Parker High School in Birmingham. During his time in Tuscaloosa, Beaman has appeared in four games with a pair of tackles in 2024 as a true freshman.
Following the injury to Beaman, players such as Edric Hill, Isaia Faga, and Steve Bolo Mboumoua are likely expected to be among Alabama's top reserve options at defensive tackle.
