Alabama lands commitment from First Team All-Sun Belt transfer kicker
On Monday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide officially landed a commitment from transfer kicker Lorcan Quinn.
Coming to Alabama via the NCAA transfer portal, Quinn will have multiple seasons of eligibility remaining.
A native of Ireland, Quinn recently spent the 2025 season at Marshall as a true freshman where he had a memorable first year of college football. Quinn made 21-of-26 field goal attempts as a true freshman, as well as 38-of-39 extra points.
The Marshall transfer also led the Sun Belt with 21 made field goals last season, and earned First Team All-Sun Belt honors at seasons end.
Quinn now joins Alabama's 2026 roster as a potential instant impact player who should compete with the returning Conor Talty for the starting kicker position.
