- ‘Almost Ready’: Kiké Hernández and Brusdar Graterol Tease Dodgers Return
Two injured Los Angeles Dodgers are getting oh-so-close to making their way back to the team, and they recently teased their progress on social media.
Fan favorite utility player Kiké Hernández posted to Instagram a photo of he and reliever Brusdar Graterol grinning with the caption "we're almost ready" written in Spanish.
They appear to be on an airplane, presumably on their way to join the Triple-A Oklahoma City Comets for their rehabilitation assignments.
Both Dodgers have been working to return from surgery.
Hernández had surgery on his elbow in the offseason ahead of the 2026 season, while Graterol missed all of 2025 while recovering from a shoulder surgery in 2024 .
They're on similar recovery tracks, though.

Graterol pitched one inning for the Comets a couple of days ago.
He needed only eight pitches to get three consecutive batters out on a strikeout and two groundouts.

Hernández will start his own rehabilitation this week, possibly as soon as Tuesday, so he'll also be with the Comets.
They're joining starting pitcher Blake Snell , who's also in Oklahoma City on a rehab assignment.
And reliever Brock Stewart just left the Comets to join the Dodgers in Houston for their series against the Astros .
Manager Dave Roberts recently revealed updates for a few other injured Dodgers .
Second baseman Tommy Edman still doesn't have a timeline for his return from ankle surgery in November .
Roberts said Edman is on a "slow program," which makes sense given that he was twice sidelined with ankle injuries in 2025.
Shortstop Mookie Betts , who injured his oblique, has been swinging the bat again and will face live pitching on Thursday.
An exact timeline for his rehab assignment wasn't disclosed, but Roberts said it could begin "soon."
