- 🎥 América thrash San Diego by half-time
Banorte Stadium is América's true fortress, as they got off on the right foot in the Leagues Cup and, in front of their fans, were already celebrating a 3-0 lead by halftime.
Brian Rodríguez, who had been at the center of speculation over his future at the Nido, opened his scoring account in the competition with a superb goal after a team move.
Later, Erick Sánchez extended the lead and, before the whistle for the break, Isias Violante did the same.
Although Las Águilas are not dominating possession, they have had more shots on target than San Diego.
