Carnell Tate likely won't be around when the Pittsburgh Steelers pick at No. 21 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft later this month. Makai Lemon, who Mike McCarthy's team hosted on a pre-draft visit earlier this week, might be gone, as well.
ESPN's Mina Kimes had high praise for another possible Steelers first-round receiving target — Texas A&M's KC Concepcion.
"My son's favorite toy in the world is a machine that shoots Hot Wheels cars," Kimes said recently on her podcast. "And it does a loop-de-loop. He calls it 'Hot Wheels Game' and we just play it for hours. And that's what KC Concepcion looks like — a Hot Wheels car being shot out of a cannon."
Concepcion was a first-team Associated Press All-American as an all-purpose player last season. He also earned first-team All-SEC nods as a wideout and all-purpose guy, leading the Aggies with 61 receptions, 919 receiving yards and nine touchdown grabs.

"He makes really impressive catches at times. There's catches on his tape where he's fighting through contact, he's tracking it," Kimes said. "And then there are ones that are just inexplicable drops. Maybe, this could age horribly, but the fact that he can do it and has the placement to do it is what makes me think he can improve in that regard in the NFL.
"Because you know what you probably can't improve on or you can't teach — a guy who shoots off the line of scrimmage against press like a rocket ship, and that's what he is."
Of course there would be a caveat with choosing Concepcion early with his drops, but with his ability as a punt returner, too — he had two punt returns for touchdowns last season — makes him an intriguing option for the Steelers.
