Andoni Iraola got his first Premier League win with Liverpool when the unbeaten Reds beat Ipswich Town 2-0 on Friday at Portman Road to kick off Week 3 of the PL season.
Iraola is surely relieved at the win, which boosted his men to 1W-2D on the season, and his lineup changes paid dividends as Ronald Araujo was solid at right back in place of Jeremie Frimpong.

He also handed a debut to Bradley Barcola off the bench, as the expensive new signing entered in the second half.

How does it feel to get the three points?"Feels good. We needed this one. We were close on the other two and couldn't do it. We started really strong today and I think that was the key."

Gakpo and Isak combination was very good?"All the forwards can have the offensive numbers, goals, assists, but I'm most pleased that we started strong. The goals are a consequence of those situations."
Alexander Isak on the path to a lot of goals?"We want and ask him a lot of things, to help the team overall. When he's fit, he's going to make the numbers but most of my demands with him are not about the goals."
Made lots of subs to spread experience around?"It was about managing to win the game, not to suffer, not to concede chances. We had some situations to finish better. Also we had been unlucky in other games with VAR. Fine margins."
On Bradley Barcola's debut:"His first minutes since the World Cup. He hasn't even played in a friendly. He has been training well but you always have to be careful. He's at a good level. We want to find him in behind."
