Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese had a funny exchange with Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers in practice. Ahead of Team USA's second game in the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup against Italy, the players were seen arguing about the height of the basketball rim.
Reese pointed out that the rim was too low, while Bueckers thought otherwise. As Bueckers inspected the rim, her teammates suggested she try to touch the rim. Reese urged Bueckers to do so to reach a conclusion to their argument.

Bueckers heeded Reese's request, proceeding to jump as high as she could to try to touch the rim. While it is unclear if Bueckers made contact with the rim, Reese is heard in the video saying, "that wasn't enough, babe."
This light and wholesome moment was caught on camera, and the WNBA's Instagram account posted the video on Instagram.
Reese and Team USA are looking to record their second straight win on Saturday against Italy.

They dominated their first game against China, winning 94-61 to kick off their gold-medal defense.
Reese finished the game with five points, nine boards and one block, while Bueckers had 14 points, four dimes and two steals. Both came off the bench but played meaningful minutes for head coach Kara Lawson. Reese logged 16 minutes, while Bueckers saw 20 minutes of action.
After Saturday's game against Italy, Team USA will close out the group stage with a matchup against the Czech Republic on Sunday. The Americans will secure a spot in the quarterfinals if they win both contests.
