Los Angeles Angels first baseman Nolan Schanuel and catcher Sebastian Rivero both exited Tuesday's win with apparent injury.
Schanuel has been dealing with a lower leg over the past couple weeks, only recently returning from the injured list. A pitch struck Schanuel in his first plate appearance of the night, and he stepped up to the plate the following inning to hit a single.
Come the top of the fourth inning, though, Trey Mancini replaced him at first place. After the game, manager Kurt Suzuki revealed the hit by pitch reaggravated his calf.

Rivero left the game in the following inning, wincing after a foul ball. Suzuki said Rivero's injury was in his left hand.
"We're getting a CT scan tomorrow and [will] see what the results are," Suzuki said . "Definitely when you got to come out of the game, for me, that's always a red flag. But, once we get the results back tomorrow, then we'll know more."
Despite two of their more productive players leaving the game early, the Angels managed to take a comfortable 10-1 win over the Houston Astros to even up the series.
How Have Nolan Schanuel and Sebastian Rivero Played This Season?
Schanuel has played 53 games for the Halos this season, posting a .256 batting average and a .689 OPS. He hasn't performed up to his usual standards as of yet, as his OPS would be the lowest of his career if the season ended today, but he showed some improvement before his injury in May.
He had a .739 OPS last month, hitting a homer and driving in five runs.
Rivero hasn't been as good over the course of the season, posting a .569 OPS so far this year, but had finally begun figuring things out at the plate prior to his injury.
He had recorded a hit in all of his last seven at-bats before his injury. Rivero had a six-RBI performance in Sunday's win against the Los Angeles Dodgers , going 5-for-5 with a double in the game.

The Angels will hope these injuries aren't too serious, as they're already shorthanded as far as position players go. Both Adam Frazier and Vaughn Grissom landed on the injured list last week, as did Jorge Soler .
