Another Lundell Added to the Florida Panthers Family
Kasper Lundell, the younger brother of Florida Panthers center Anton, will be part of the organization after signing a one-year contract with the Charlotte Checkers on Wednesday.
Lundell, 22, will likely get the chance to start training camp with the Panthers but since this is an AHL contract, he would have to sign a new deal with the NHL team if he were to make it with the big club down the road.

Regardless, this is a big step for the younger Lundell who has spent the entirety of his professional career either playing for HPK or the Lundell's hometown club HIFK Helsinki in the Finnish Elite League (SM-liiga).
Last season, Kasper Lundell scored three goals with seven points in 38 games.
He also has some international experience playing for Finland at the Spengler and Hlinka Gretzky cup tournaments.
