- Antonio Brown Fires Off 4-Word Reaction to Former Bucs HC Bruce Arians Taking Blame for WR’s Infamous Exit vs. Jets

Antonio Brown has taken another shot at former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians after the coach reflected on the receiver's infamous exit against the New York Jets in 2022.
Brown responded on social media with a profanity-laced message aimed at Arians. He also shared a video appearing to show him urinating on his Super Bowl LV championship ring, reigniting their long-running feud.
Brown made his feelings clear with a four-word message directed at his former coach: "[Expletive] you, Bruce Arians."
The post came after Arians discussed Brown's dramatic departure during a Week 17 game against the Jets on Jan. 2, 2022, on the "Not Just Football" podcast .
During the game at MetLife Stadium, Brown removed his jersey, shoulder pads, and undershirt before throwing his gloves into the stands and leaving the field in the middle of the contest. It quickly became one of the most memorable incidents of Brown's NFL career.
Reflecting on the confrontation, Arians acknowledged that his own response played a part in how the situation unfolded.
"That's probably my fault," Arians said. "Mike (Evans) got hurt, Chris (Godwin) got hurt, he got like 12 or 13 targets the week before. I thought we'd tear the Jets up. They double-teamed him the whole time… So, Gronk was getting the balls in the middle, and he got upset at halftime and just said he wasn't going back in if he wasn't getting the ball. And I told him to get the [expletive] out of here, and he took it literally."

Brown has said he left the game because of an ankle injury and claimed the Buccaneers coaching staff pressured him to return despite being unable to play.
The team and Arians disputed that account, saying they had not received clear communication about an injury that would keep Brown out of the game.
Brown's time in Tampa Bay came to an abrupt end after the incident, with the Buccaneers releasing him shortly afterward.

Although Arians was Brown's offensive coordinator early in his career, their relationship soured much later when Arians publicly criticized the receiver's behavior, leading to a highly publicized feud.
Despite that history, they reunited in Tampa Bay in 2020, with quarterback Tom Brady playing a key role in bringing Brown to the Buccaneers.
The move worked on the field. Brown helped Tampa Bay win Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs, catching a touchdown pass in the victory.
However, the reunion did not last. His midgame departure against the Jets became the defining moment of his final season with the Buccaneers and marked the end of his NFL career.
