The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.
Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2025, questions they face and their roster outlook.
Here is receiver Tejhaun Palmer .
Tejhaun Palmer background, 2025 season
Palmer was drafted by the Cardinals in the sixth round in 2024 out of UAB. He spent the entire 2025 season on the practice squad. In 2025, he spent almost the entire season on the practice squad, but was signed to the active roster at the end of the year and played in one game.
He played four snaps on offense and two on special teams.
Tejhaun Palmer contract details, cap hit
Palmer will make $885,000 in salary in 2026 if he makes the team, the minimum for a player without an accrued season. That will also be his cap hit.
Questions facing him, roster outlook
Palmer is battling for one of the back-end spots in the receiver room. Three, maybe four, spots are locks.
He will need to show he can play on special teams and make plays in the passing game. It is not teh same coaching staff who hired him, so he will have to stand out.
