The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.
Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2025, questions they face and their roster outlook.
Here is tight end Kenny Yeboah .
Kenny Yeboah background, 2025 season
Yeboah is in his first season with the Cardinals and enters his sixth season in the league. He entered the league as a rookie free agent in 2021 with the New York Jets . He spent four seasons with the Jets, where he worked with Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur and special teams coordinator Michael Ghobrial. In four seasons, appearing in 33 total games, he played 309 offensive snaps and 610 on special teams. He has nine career catches for 111 yards and a touchdown.
Last season, he joined the Detroit Lions but injured his knee before the season and landed on injured reserve. He was waived with an injury settlement in November. He signed with the Cardinals in June.
Kenny Yeboah contract details, salary cap hit
He signed a one-year deal worth the league minimum of more than $1.2 million. He got no signing bonus and has no guarantees. He has a veteran qualifying contract, so his cap hit will be less than $1.1 million.
Roster outlook, questions he faces
Yeboah adds an intriguing option for the fourth tight end spot on the roster. The Cardinals have three seeming locks for the roster at the position between Trey McBride , Tip Reiman and Elijah Higgins , so everyone else is vying for the fourth and final spot.
Is he fully healthy?
He is a bubble player for training camp, but his experience on special teams and his time with LaFleur and Ghobrial with the Jets might give him a leg up on the other guys.
