Arizona Diamondbacks sign Brayden Dowd
Brayden Dowd has reportedly signed his deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks .
According to Jim Callis of MLP Pipeline , the deal is worth $775,000. It is an underslot deal for Dowd, with the 88th overall pick having a value of $915,100. The outfielder spent one season in Tallahassee after starting his career with the USC Trojans and will have a chance to move quickly due to his good eye at the plate.

Dowd hit .293 with 13 doubles, 10 home runs, 36 RBI, and 52 runs scored. He also worked 51 walks and finished with a .527 slugging percentage and a .456 on-base percentage. He ranked among FSU's top five hitters in every offensive category and was a perfect 10-for-10 stealing bases.
He started 43 games for FSU, with 37 coming at center and six in left field. He was named to the All-ACC Third Team.
Dowd is the fifth of FSU's seven draft picks to have signed their deal. Myles Bailey signed an overslot deal with the Chicago Cubs, Trey Beard has signed with the Miami Marlins, Bryson Moore has signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Brodie Purcell has signed with the Cincinnati Reds.
