In a recent report , Tutto Atalanta stated that Arsenal are keen on recruiting Atalanta keeper Marco Carnesecchi . It has been mentioned that the Gunners are eyeing a move to acquire the services of the Italian goalie this summer.
The 25-year-old produced a run of solid displays in goal for Atalanta last season. Carnesecchi conceded 56 goals and earned 17 clean sheets in 50 matches for the Italian club in the previous campaign on all fronts.
The Italian talent is currently one of the most talented keepers in Serie A. Thus, it is no surprise that the Gunners are eager to snap him up this off-season. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League .
Carnesecchi is under contract at the Italian club until the summer of 2028, which could make it difficult for Arsenal to sign him on a cut-price deal in this summer transfer period.

Carnasecchi is a good handler of the ball and can use his quick reflexes to make a few solid saves at the back for his team. He doesn't mind clearing the danger when needed and is a good passer as well.
Standing at 1.91m, the Italian custodian is a commanding presence inside his penalty box and doesn't hesitate to come out to collect loose balls and crosses when required. However, it remains to be seen whether he can cope with the high intensity of the Premier League if the Gunners manage to get him on board this summer.
We can expect Carnesecchi to bring more quality and depth to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta's backline. He is good enough to challenge for a regular starting role at the North London club in the coming years.
At 25, Carnesecchi has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the Gunners to pursue in this transfer window. He will help Arsenal compete across all competitions in the future. Thus, Arteta should focus on going all out to bring him to the Emirates Stadium before the start of the new campaign, but only if they can get him for a fair price.
