Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Mexican teenager Gilberto Mora after his impressive performances for the Mexico national team at the 2026 World Cup.

The Gunners are among the clubs that have monitored the midfielder and been impressed by his fearless displays on the international stage despite his young age.

Mora is just 17 and has already established himself as an important player for both his national team and his club, Tijuana. His performances have attracted attention from several European clubs, increasing speculation that he could make the move to Europe soon.

With interest continuing to grow, Arsenal are keen to position themselves to secure his signature. The club reportedly recognises the competition for his services and wants to move quickly before more suitors enter the race.

Arsenal reportedly make an offer for Mora

According to El Porvenir , Arsenal have already submitted an offer to sign the talented midfielder as they look to strengthen their squad with one of Mexico's promising young players.

The reported approach suggests that the Gunners are keen to make progress in their pursuit rather than wait for interest from other clubs to develop further.

Mora's development has attracted considerable attention, and a move to Europe could represent a significant step in his career. At 17, he has already gained valuable experience representing his country and playing for Tijuana, making him a player to watch in the coming months.

Gunners look to get ahead of the competition

Arsenal understand that securing Mora's signature could prove challenging, given the number of clubs reportedly monitoring his progress. Moving early could help them strengthen their position as they seek to bring him to European football.

The midfielder is expected to have important decisions to make regarding his future, particularly if interest from abroad continues to increase. Arsenal will hope their reported offer puts them in a favourable position to reach an agreement.

For now, the reported interest represents a potential opportunity for the Gunners to invest in young talent. Whether the offer leads to a deal remains unclear, but Arsenal appear keen to pursue Mora as they consider additions to their squad.
