Mikel Arteta has a couple of decisions to make before Chelsea arrive at the Emirates, although the shape of Arsenal 's side should still look fairly familiar.
Cristhian Mosquera came off late at Aston Villa and is due to be checked again before Sunday. Arteta described the change as precautionary, but with William Saliba still out, there is little reason to take a risk if Mosquera is not completely right, opening the door for Ezri Konsa.
Konsa came on at Villa Park for his Arsenal debut and is fully available to start against Chelsea . If Mosquera does not make it, the former Aston Villa defender looks the most likely partner for Gabriel.
Jurrien Timber is also getting closer, but after missing the opening two league games and only recently returning to full training, a place on the bench would make more sense than throwing him straight back in.
Ben White should therefore continue at right-back, with Riccardo Calafiori on the left and David Raya in goal.
There is another late call to make in midfield. Bruno Guimaraes took a knock against Villa and was due to be assessed again on Saturday. Arteta had hoped the midfielder would be able to train, but his availability for Chelsea has not yet been confirmed.
That makes Myles Lewis-Skelly the safer call to start alongside Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.
Guimaraes had already missed the opening win over Coventry City before making his first competitive Arsenal appearance from the bench at Villa Park.
Myles Lewis-Skelly started both games, looking comfortable in the middle, meaning he could keep his place alongside Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.
That would give Arteta continuity through the middle while keeping Guimaraes as an option later on if he is fit enough to be involved.
Further forward, Bukayo Saka is an obvious starter on the right after scoring in both of Arsenal's opening league games.
The more interesting call comes on the opposite side.
Eberechi Eze was impressive after replacing Christos Tzolis at half-time against Villa and helped create Saka's winner, but Tzolis could still be given another start.
His first half at Villa Park was not his best, although his more direct style could be useful against Chelsea's back three. The Gunners may want someone prepared to attack the space quickly rather than always coming inside for the ball.
Eze would then give Arteta a very different option from the bench if the game needs changing.
Kai Havertz should also keep his place through the middle.
Viktor Gyokeres is still waiting for his first Premier League start, and there is a strong chance he features at some stage, but Havertz has been trusted from the beginning in both league games so far.
There is no obvious reason for Arteta to change that yet.
Gyokeres could become particularly useful if Arsenal need a more direct threat later in the game, especially if Chelsea begin to leave space as the match opens up.
That would leave two changes from the side which started at Aston Villa, both forced by the doubts over Mosquera and Guimaraes.
