Arsenal continue to work on potential additions to their squad and are drawing up a list of players they could sign when the transfer window opens again in January or during the summer. One name on that list is Lucien Agoume .

The Frenchman currently plays for Sevilla and has consistently been one of the standout players in La Liga. Agoume has continued to impress whenever he takes to the pitch for his current employers, making him an attractive option for clubs looking to strengthen their midfield.

It is not the first time Arsenal have been linked with a move for Agoume. The Gunners have maintained a long-standing interest in the midfielder but have yet to make a formal move. That could change when the next transfer window opens.

Arsenal monitoring Agoume closely

According to Caught Offside , Arsenal are now more interested in signing Agoume and have sent scouts to watch him this season. The Gunners are reportedly preparing to finally make a formal approach for the 24-year-old.

Arsenal's increased interest reflects the midfielder's continued development and consistent performances in Spain. Even when Sevilla have struggled, Agoume has managed to stand out through his individual performances and has remained one of the strongest players in their squad.

His ability to maintain a high standard despite difficulties around him has made his displays even more impressive. Arsenal will therefore continue to monitor his progress as they consider whether to turn their long-standing interest into a concrete transfer approach.

Agoume could develop further

At 24, Agoume still has room to develop and could become an important player for Arsenal if they eventually secure his signature. His performances for Sevilla have already demonstrated his ability, while a move to the Emirates could provide him with another opportunity to progress.

The Gunners would hope that his consistency in La Liga can translate to the Premier League. If they bring him into their squad, he could gradually establish himself as one of the key players at the Emirates.

For now, Arsenal appear to be keeping a close eye on his performances before deciding whether to make their interest more concrete. Agoume's continued form could strengthen the case for a move, particularly if the Gunners believe he can contribute immediately while developing into an even more important player over time.
