The Gophers first injury report of the season has been released, as the Big Ten debuts its new mid-week system for conference games this season. Starting center Ashton Beers is questionable on Wednesday's report, while starters Darius Taylor, Matt Kingsbury and Aidan Gousby are probable to return.
There will be reports on Thursday, Friday and two hours before kickoff for every Big Ten game this fall, but it's encouraging for Minnesota to have Taylor, Kingsbury and Gousby all listed as probable at this point of the week.
Beers' questionable tag is the most significant situation to monitor. He's arguably Minnesota's second-best offensive line, and they don't have much depth at center with backup Brett Carroll out for the season.

Beers left Saturday's win over Akron with an apparent injury, but he eventually returned. In his absence, Greg Johnson moved to center, and Jaden Ball moved to left guard. The rest of the offensive line remained the same.
Ellineus Davis and Logan George are probable to return to Washington's front seven, and defensive lineman DeSean Watts is questionable, so the Gophers will need all the help they can get up front. Beers' status will be significant for their offensive line.
Other notes
In a possitive note, there are no big surprises. Beers, Taylor, Kingsbury and Gousby are the only significant contributors banged up for the matchup, minues Estrada and Moore, who both have serious injuries. Here's where things stand with the other seven players listed.
