Assessing Noah Whittington’s performance at the 2026 NFL Combine

The 2026 NFL Combine has been running since Thursday, with specific position groups participating in on-field workouts and medical evaluations on certain days. A handful of Oregon Ducks players have already completed their combine duties, while there are still a few more left to go.

Wide receiver Malik Benson and running back Noah Whittington were scheduled to participate today, but the latter decided to sit out with a toe injury that has been nagging him. While he missed a valuable opportunity to improve his draft stock, he still has a chance to show the world what he can do at Oregon ’s Pro Day.

Whittington didn’t participate in any on-field drills, but the NFL still got some measurements, which give prospective teams some insight into how the powerful rusher will translate to the next level. He officially stands at five-foot-eight, 205 pounds, which is almost exactly what the Ducks had him listed as.

The four-year Oregon standout’s arms were measured at 29 1/8 inches, which is below average for his position, but he won’t need it for much else besides pass protection. His hand size was also underwhelming, coming in at 8 ¼ inches.

This trait can sometimes be linked to ball-security issues, but we know Whittington had little to no trouble holding on to the ball in college. Of course, everyone is more talented in the NFL, but it should be a good sign that his measurements weren’t the greatest, yet they weren’t a detriment to him.

We didn’t find out much that we didn’t know about the bruising running back today, so hopefully we’re treated to an electric Pro Day.
