⚠️Atlético confirm Johnny Cardoso's injury
American midfielder Johnny Cardoso has suffered a low-grade muscle injury in his thigh, as confirmed by medical tests carried out after the Champions League match.
Discomfort in the Champions League
The Atlético midfielder finished Tuesday's European clash against Stuttgart in discomfort. With the symptoms persisting, the club's medical staff carried out the necessary tests to determine the extent of the problem.
Rehabilitation underway
The player has already begun his recovery program, combining physiotherapy sessions with rehabilitation work in the gym. His return to team training and competitive action will depend entirely on how his injury progresses over the coming days.
