Bayern sensation Maycon Cardozo lifting heads in pre-season
Maycon Cardozo has emerged as one of the winners in the first part of pre-season for FC Bayern Munich, based on BILD's reports.
The 17-year-old stood out in training with his work ethic and attacking drive, receiving recognition from Vincent Kompany.

Cardozo also left a good impression in their 15-0 win over Rottach-Egern and is making a strong case to be included in the first team.
Despite a slow start to the season for Bayern Munich's U-23 side in the Regionalliga, head coach Dante was also impressed:
"Maycon always gives it his all – always. I even had to stop him once and tell him he shouldn't always be sprinting.
"He is always motivated and focused, always thinking about the next ball. That's a great quality. With his attitude, he's a role model for our team."
Because of his performances, Cardozo will be included in the squad for the Asia tour, and could get game time in the friendlies there.
After the tour, it will become clearer whether Cardozo has a realistic chance of playing a role for the first team this season.
