Marcus Spears was unable to attend the game in Austin as he worked for ESPN during their coverage of Monday Night Football all the way up in the Pacific Northwest. However, he was able to catch a glimpse of his son, Marcus Spears Jr., arriving to the game.
It was an emotional moment for Spears as he watched his son's entrance to the game from Lumen Field. The former Dallas Cowboys defender even admitted he was close to tears as ESPN showed him the footage of his son.
The moment was shared with NFL fans watching on Monday evening and many shared their thoughts online.

This is not Spears' only successful athletic child, with his daughter, Macaria, also proving her sporting talent at the University of Texas. Cari is one of the Longhorns' star volleyball players, who has received AVCA All-American recognition.
