FOXBOROUGH - Anfernee Jennings , a veteran starter on defense, was a healthy scratch against the Las Vegas Raiders last week.
With the absence of Keion White , Patriots coach Mike Vrabel indicated he would look to Jennings to step in.

"I think Anfernee is very ready," Vrabel said. "I had to make a tough decision last week ... we can only have so many guys active. I'm excited to see Anfernee play. He's always been prepared, and taken advantage of his opportunities. He'll continue to do that, I would imagine, on Sunday. He'll play hard and physical and be ready to go."
Jennings wasn't the best scheme fit for Vrabel's defense, but has worked his way back up the depth chart, and adapted to the new defense.
"I feel good about the game plan. I'm looking forward to going out there and executing the game plan, and coming back with a (win)," Jennings said Friday.
How tough was it to sit out against the Raiders?

"Obviously, as a competitor, you want to play," Jennings said. "But you can only control what you can control ... I just look forward to going out and doing my job to help the team win."
