It's November, which means two things when the Cincinnati Bengals are concerned.
One: Joe Burrow and the offense have woken up from their annual offseason slumber (that extended a little too far into the season, as usual).
And two: it's Salute to Service Month.
With Veterans Day just a few days away, the NFL is in its military-appreciation month, and the Bengals happen to have a defensive tackle from the Navy and a Marine on the roster. After being named the Bengals' Salute to Service Award nominee , Landon Robinson spoke with Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson about his time at Navy, his service, and his future before the team left for Spain.
The Bengals selected Robinson with the No. 226 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. That's the same pick the Arizona Cardinals spent on former NFL safety and former Army Ranger Pat Tillman.
"I took a class where we did a case study on him [Tillman] and learned about his story and what he did in the NFL and made the decision to go serve. When I saw I got drafted 226, 'Wow, that is crazy,'" he said when he was asked about the coincidence by Hobson.

DJ Turner, key Bengals get injury updates from Madrid
Quite a week for Turner, the No. 1 cornerback who appeared to suffer a serious injury just one week ago. The fact the Bengals even had him board the plane overseas, though, was a big hint he had a real chance to play.
"I like the Bengals," Hawkins said about the best fit for Taylor. "I think that's the only glaring need that they have offensively. Joe Burrow obviously can throw for 450 yards a game, but is that sustainable? Especially as you get later in the season and into the playoffs. They have a great schedule ahead of them. They could use some more firepower offensively."

"I watch him on TV all the time. You know what I mean? Higgins said. "It's so crazy. We just talked about how fast this dude is, right? How do you run that fast, dribbling the ball on your feet? That's crazy. And then the moves he throws, it's amazing. Just having that type of player at the game would be great to see."
HOW THE BENGALS ARE TACKLING A TEST OF LOGISTICS, ROUTINE IN MADRID
"One above all is keeping the schedule as close to our routine as possible," Taylor said. "We've got a team of people that logistically have handled this for us that are top-notch. My hat is off to everybody that has helped us set up and hit the ground running. There are two teams here. Your job is to handle the week better than the other team as much as possible. I don't know Atlanta's itinerary; I won't be able to watch their practice or anything like that, but we are only playing one other team. Not 31 other teams. Control everything you can control. … This game is going to count the same as all the others, so shame on us if we are not prepared."
