Coming off their bye, the Jacksonville Jaguars needed only one half to bury the Indianapolis Colts. Bhayshul Tuten scored twice, Rayuan Lane III took an interception 92 yards to the house, and the Jaguars rolled to a 42-7 win at EverBank Stadium to move to 5-2.
Jacksonville led 28-0 at halftime. Nearly every expert backed Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars against a Colts team that had just traded DeForest Buckner and Quenton Nelson, and the game played out exactly that way.

RB Bhayshul Tuten
Tuten ran 16 times for 104 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter. He added two catches for 55 yards, one of them a 25-yard touchdown as the third quarter expired.
That's 159 yards from scrimmage and two scores. Anyone who started Bhayshul Tuten against a Colts front missing Buckner got exactly what they hoped for.
QB Trevor Lawrence
Lawrence didn't need volume. He went 10 of 14 for 210 yards and three touchdown passes, a 153.3 passer rating, finding Brian Thomas Jr. from 12 yards, Nate Boerkircher from 31 and Tuten from 25.
His 15.0 yards per attempt came against a Colts secondary that came in thin at cornerback , and Lawrence took full advantage.
S Rayuan Lane III
Lane picked off Daniel Jones at the Jaguars' 8-yard line in the final seconds of the first half and went 92 yards for a touchdown. He also broke up three passes and made four tackles.
Branson Combs had Jacksonville's other interception. Instead of Indianapolis cutting it to 21-7 before halftime, Lane's return made it 28-0.
LB Foyesade Oluokun
Oluokun led the team with nine tackles, two for loss, along with a sack and a quarterback hit. Travon Walker and Jalen Huskey also recorded sacks as the Jaguars brought Jones down three times.
Bryan Thomas Jr. recovered Jonathan Taylor's fumble in the second quarter.
Loser

The pass protection
Lawrence was sacked three times for 35 yards and lost a fumble while throwing only 14 passes. That's a lot of pressure allowed against a Colts defense that had just traded its best interior pass rusher.
We wrote this week that the Jaguars have a line problem they can't save for January , and a 35-point win doesn't make that go away.
