PITTSBURGH — “With the 82nd pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select Domonique Orange, nose tackle, Iowa State.”

When Brian O’Neill, a current offensive tackle for the Vikings, made that announcement on national television Friday evening, “Big Citrus” turned his NFL dreams into reality.

ESPN broadcasters called him a “developmental player” on Orange following the announcement.

Orange was named to the All-Big 12 Third Team in 2025.

In four years with the Cyclones, the Kansas City, Mo., native appeared in 50 games between 2022 and 2025 (30-20 record) and started 24 games. In his career, he tallied 66 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two passes defended and a sack of Sam Leavitt in the 2024 Big 12 Championship game.
