Despite Atlanta's inconsistent start, Robinson has established himself as one of the league's most explosive offensive weapons, combining elite rushing production with his ability to create opportunities when blocking breaks down.
Through seven games, Robinson has rushed for 704 yards and four touchdowns on 131 carries, averaging 5.4 yards per attempt. He has also recorded 25 receptions for 203 yards and one touchdown, giving him 907 yards from scrimmage and five total touchdowns.
Robinson is averaging 129.6 yards from scrimmage per game, putting him on pace for approximately 1,710 rushing yards and 2,203 yards from scrimmage over 17 games.
His most impressive performances came against Green Bay and New Orleans.
Robinson rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns against the Packers in Week 3 before adding 145 rushing yards and two touchdowns against the Saints in Week 4.

Falcons running backs coach Michael Pitre compared Robinson to Bruce Banner during the week before transforming into the Hulk shortly before kickoff.
Robinson continued demonstrating his versatility Sunday against San Francisco, rushing for 63 yards on 20 carries while catching five passes for 59 yards.
His 122 yards from scrimmage helped Atlanta secure a 29-20 victory over the previously undefeated 49ers , improving the Falcons' record to 3-4.
However, team success remains Robinson's biggest obstacle in the MVP conversation.
Quarterbacks traditionally dominate MVP voting, and running backs generally need historic production combined with a winning record.

Robinson has already demonstrated that he belongs among football's elite players.
If Atlanta continues winning and Robinson maintains his remarkable production, the Falcons superstar could force voters to reconsider whether the MVP award should automatically favor quarterbacks.
For now, Robinson remains Atlanta's most valuable offensive weapon and a legitimate candidate deserving national attention.
