The Buffalo Bills have 18 players listed on their injury report as they begin preparations for Monday night's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings , including several key contributors on both sides of the ball.
Buffalo's Thursday report includes five players who did not participate in practice, while five were limited and eight were full participants. The list also includes defensive back Jordan Hancock, who remains on injured reserve, and wide receiver Tyrell Shavers, who is on the physically unable to perform list.
The Bills are coming off a 36-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens , but the lengthy report gives the team plenty to monitor before traveling to Minnesota.
Bills Injury Report: Key Players to Watch
The biggest concern on the offensive line involves left tackle Dion Dawkins and right tackle Spencer Brown. Dawkins did not practice Thursday because of a rib injury, while Brown was limited with a back issue. Both starting tackles will be worth watching as the week progresses.
Alec Anderson was also a non-participant with an ankle injury, meaning Buffalo's entire left side of the line was out.
Buffalo's receiving group also has a few players dealing with injuries. Joshua Palmer did not practice because of a hamstring injury after leaving Sunday's win over Baltimore, while Keon Coleman was limited with a shoulder issue. DJ Moore, who recently returned from a shoulder injury, was also limited on Thursday and in a red non-contact. The good news, however, is that it was just for his shoulder after appearing to hyperextend his knee in Week 8.
Tight end Dalton Kincaid was limited with a chest injury, while running back Ty Johnson missed practice because of an illness.
The defensive side of the ball has its own concerns. Defensive tackle Greg Gaines did not practice with a calf injury, and cornerback Dee Alford was listed as a full participant with the ankle injury that kept him out last week. Ed Oliver, meanwhile, was a full participant with a knee injury.
Outside linebackers Bradley Chubb and TJ Parker, linebacker Joe Andreessen, offensive lineman Ar'maj Reed-Adams, and defensive lineman T.J. Sanders were also full participants on Thursday.
Jordan Hancock's Status
Going back to Hancock, he remains on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, but the Bills have opened his 21-day practice window, giving the team a chance to evaluate his progress before deciding whether to activate him.
Shavers remains on the physically unable to perform list as he works back from a knee injury. They have two weeks to decide on his status.
Buffalo's injury report will continue to take shape as the team prepares for Minnesota. With the game scheduled for Monday night, the Bills have additional practice days to assess the players dealing with injuries before making final decisions on availability.
