The Buffalo Bills are seeing what they can unlock with a position change for Travis Clayton during 2026 NFL spring practices.
Clayton, a seventh-round pick out of the International Pathway Program in London in 2024 by the Bills, had previously been playing on the offensive line. Now during the team's ongoing training camp, he is jumping to the defensive line.
The try out at defensive tackle was spotted by ESPN:
Clayton said after practice that the coaching staff just happened to see something that sprung an idea in their head.
"At the moment they've been giving me an opportunity," Clayton said after practice. "It's been cool, I've been enjoying it."
"We like a team bonding type of thing, we were doing like 5, 10, shuttles," Clayton explained . "I think a few of the D-line coaches saw it and thought, 'let's see what this guy can do on the other side of the ball.'"
