The Buffalo Bills have brought back two familiar depth pieces to increase depth on the unit early on in the offseason.
The team has announced that quarterback Shane Buechele and wide receiver Jalen Virgil , a pair of players who both have served in similar depth roles on Buffalo's roster before. Both have inked one-year deals with the team:
Buechele has previously spent years in Buffalo as the team's defacto third-string quarterback from the practice squad. However, he has not appeared in a game.
Virgil previously featured in seven games for the Bills in 2024. That was only in a depth and special teams capacity.
Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2026 offseason.
