Blue Jays vs Athletics MLB Betting Preview
This one sets up as an interesting spot for Toronto , especially with the Blue Jays sitting at 73-73 and looking to push above .500. George Springer has plenty of experience against the A's , with 125 career hits against them, the fourth-most among active players.

Toronto has been fairly inconsistent on the road this season, though, going 35-38 away from home. That could give Athletics an opportunity to make this more competitive than the overall records suggest.
The A's, meanwhile, are 58-88 and just 26-45 at home. However, Zack Gelof has been providing some much-needed production lately, hitting three home runs with six RBIs over his last eight games in September.
Still, the gap between these teams is difficult to ignore. Toronto has the better overall record and more offensive experience against Oakland, while the A's have struggled badly at home. I like the Blue Jays to have the edge in this matchup.
When scanning today's prop market for the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Athletics matchup, one projection edge jumps off the board in our Action PRO system: Braydon Fisher Over 1.5 Strikeouts.

Our Action PRO model projects Fisher to rack up 2.65 strikeouts in today's outing. Relative to the current market line set at 1.5, that projection creates a massive 40.3% edge in our favor.
Looking at Fisher's 2026 campaign with Toronto, the underlying numbers support this model projection:
-
Fisher is posting an 8.70 K/9 over 70.1 innings pitched.
-
He holds a solid 3.20 ERA alongside a 3.91 xERA and 3.91 FIP.
With Action PRO projecting him nearly a full strikeout higher than the posted line, getting over 1.5 K's represents one of the strongest mathematical values on today's entire MLB card.
Pick: Braydon Fisher Over 1.5 Strikeouts
