💣Bombshell: River already have an agreement with Gio Simeone
In a move that shakes up the transfer market, River Plate has reached an agreement in principle to complete Giovanni Simeone 's return in June 2026. According to reports this Wednesday, the Torino striker and the "Millonario" board have already made a verbal agreement for the forward to join Eduardo Coudet's squad once the World Cup is over.
The details of the signing
Simeone, who is enjoying an excellent spell in Italy , is the top priority for the technical department to strengthen the attack. However, the deal will not be simple: Torino must first trigger the purchase obligation from Napoli (estimated at 7 million euros) before negotiating the player's move to Buenos Aires.
Sudamericana debut
While this transfer-market "bombshell" is taking shape, the team is focused on tonight's Copa Sudamericana debut against Blooming in Bolivia. River would take the field with figures such as Martínez Quarta, Quintero , and the attacking duo of Driussi and Colidio .
