The Atlanta Braves have some important decisions to make this offseason as they continue building for the future of the organization. Several players who have invested heavily in the Braves could have an opportunity to become free agents, creating plenty of questions for Atlanta to answer.

The Braves also have a disappointing situation they could move on from this winter after Jurickson Profar was suspended twice. Sports Talk ATL's Chase Irle believes the team should cut ties with Profar this offseason.
"Left field is another place where the Braves should be looking to upgrade this winter. It's been a problem area in Atlanta for years, and there's just no way they can enter another season relying on Jurickson Profar. The Braves would be wise to send a message by cutting him this offseason," Irle wrote.
Profar has left Atlanta with a significant problem in left field during his two seasons with the Braves. While his bat can provide value, his struggles have forced the team to continue searching for answers in the outfield. That is one reason Atlanta had to trade for Lane Thomas at the deadline.
"The Braves acquired outfielder Lane Thomas and minor league left-hander Bailey Falter from the Royals in exchange for two minor league pitchers Saturday. Thomas, 30, is slashing .232/.326/.393 in 97 games with the Royals this year. He has played mostly center field in Kansas City but will move over to left field in Atlanta," ESPN wrote.

The Braves are likely to continue looking for another power bat to take over in left field, preferably from the right side. Irle believes Atlanta should target Randy Arozarena.
"Arozarena is having a monster year for the Mariners and has had some huge moments in the postseason over his career. He'd be a perfect fit in Atlanta," Irle wrote.
This would be an intriguing addition for the Braves, as the former ALCS MVP has proven that he can provide significant offensive production. Arozarena also brings valuable postseason experience, including a trip to the World Series. Adding that type of player could give Atlanta's lineup another dangerous bat.
Arozarena has made $69 million throughout his career. If the Braves are able to land him, they would likely need to offer a sizable contract, but the potential payoff could be significant. Atlanta would be adding an experienced outfielder who can provide offensive production and give the lineup another proven threat.
