Braves' Ronald Acuna Jr. lineup tweak after MRI comes alongside Michael Harris II change appeared first on ClutchPoints . Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here .
The Atlanta Braves are looking to keep their season alive on Wednesday. Atlanta is trailing the Los Angeles Dodgers 2-1 in the National League Division Series at the moment. While the Dodgers made a lineup change of their own with Shohei Ohtani moving to the cleanup spot , the Braves made multiple moves as well. Center fielder Michael Harris II moved from the No. 5 spot to leadoff, while Ronald Acuna Jr. is still hitting second but is playing right field after being the DH in Game 3.
Acuna reportedly had an MRI on his knee following Tuesday night's game, according to Mark Bowman of MLB.com. It seems as if he is alright, as he is back in the outfield on Wednesday.
With Harris moving to the leadoff spot, catcher Drake Baldwin — who hit leadoff on Tuesday — is batting fifth. First baseman Matt Olson and second baseman Ozzie Albies remain in the No. 3 and No. 4 spots in the lineup.
Harris has been the Braves' best hitter during the postseason. The 25-year-old is hitting .375/.400/.625 to go along with one home run, one double, one triple and four RBI across six games played in the 2026 MLB playoffs so far.
Atlanta needs to win on Wednesday, so giving their current best hitter the opportunity to receive the most plate appearances on the team certainly makes sense. However, Harris needs his Braves teammates to step up and make an impact as well.
Game 4 of the NLDS between the Dodgers and Braves in Atlanta is scheduled for 6 PM ET.
