- Brenden Aaronson worries to multiply at Leeds as BBC journalist met with blank wall over USA query
Brenden Aaronson may be losing his influence at Leeds United and within the USA national team.
The American playmaker was left out of Mauricio Pochettino's squad for the extended three-week international break.

Daniel Farke heavily relied on the 25-year-old last season, but the German manager has preferred other options up front in recent weeks.
Aaronson's diminishing prospects at Elland Road could potentially be hurting his international career.
The midfielder has played 59 times for his country but made only one appearance at the 2026 World Cup.
Pochettino doesn't seem to trust the former Red Bull Salzburg ace and it will be fascinating to know why.
What future holds for Brenden Aaronson with USMNT
Aaronson's reputation among Leeds fans has always been mixed, but he played a key role in securing Premier League survival last season.

After starting the first two league matches, the American playmaker has found himself on the bench in the last three games.
Farke has preferred Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin 's partnership recently.
As for Aaronson's situation with the USMNT, BBC Radio Leeds ' Adam Pope has enquired about it but has been met with silence.
The attacking midfielder's concerns over his national team future may multiply given the lack of public clarity.
Speaking on Don't Go To Bed Just Yet on 28 September, Pope said: "I've asked questions [about Aaronson's exclusion], and I've met a bit of a blank wall."

Renewed Brenden Aaronson faith is fading quickly at Leeds: What is the solution? Brenden Aaronson's best chance of a Leeds XI return
Farke demanded quality additions at Leeds this summer and got exactly that.
Harry Wilson and Jean Matteo-Bahoya have bolstered the German manager's attack.
Calvert-Lewin and Okafor have been in fine form at the start of the season, and Lukas Nmecha has also put in decent displays when called upon.
In Farke's 5-3-2 formation, he has been reluctant to play Aaronson in the midfield three.
The American's best chance of earning a starting spot is in a more attacking role, but competition has increased significantly this season.

If the USMNT ace continues to struggle for minutes, it wouldn't be surprising to see him look for an exit.
Aaronson's current contract at Elland Road runs until June 2029, but his future will be one to keep an eye on.
