Keith Andrews could keep faith with the side that started at Leeds when Brentford return to the Gtech Community Stadium against Sunderland.
There is one enforced absence. Mathias Jensen is still out with the minor problem which kept him out at Elland Road and Andrews has already confirmed the midfielder will not return this weekend.
That should leave Mikkel Damsgaard in contention for another start.
Damsgaard came into the team at Leeds alongside Mamadou Sangare and Vitaly Janelt, with Brentford taking a point from a 1-1 draw after opening the season with a 3-0 win over Tottenham.
Sangare has started both matches, and there is little reason to move away from him now. The Mali international has already registered an assist and was nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award following his first two appearances.
El Hadji Malick Diouf was named on the bench for the first time at Leeds following his move from West Ham, but Keane Lewis-Potter has started the season well at left-back. He scored against Tottenham and was involved again at Elland Road, delivering the ball which Kevin Schade turned in for Brentford 's goal. His experience and current form suggest he should be in line for another start whilst Diouf continues to get more familiar with the Bees.
On the opposite flank, Michael Kayode has been the preferred option, while Kristoffer Ajer and Nathan Collins have formed the central partnership.
That back four has started both Premier League games so far, and with no new injury concerns after Leeds, Andrews has little reason to tinker with his defence.
The main decision for Andrews comes on the right side of the front three. Dango Ouattara started the opening game against Tottenham before Jaidon Anthony was given his first Brentford league start at Leeds.
Anthony played his part in the build-up to Schade's goal and did enough to stake a claim for another start.
Igor Thiago is still searching for his first league goal of the campaign, though he has had opportunities in both games so far.
He struck the post from the penalty spot against Tottenham and went close again at Leeds, but there is no sign yet that Andrews is considering a change up front.
Schade, who scored at Elland Road, is expected to keep his place on the left.
If Andrews sticks with this line-up, it would mean just two changes from the team that beat Tottenham on the opening weekend, both of which were already made at Leeds.
Jensen's injury saw Damsgaard come into midfield, while Anthony took over from Ouattara on the right.
With Diouf now available too, Andrews has options, but after collecting four points from the opening two games, there is a strong argument for keeping changes to a minimum.
