- Brewers stars go trick-or-treating in Wauwatosa, pose for selfies
Three blocks from her house, while trick-or-treating, Lindsay Emer and the rest of her group stopped walking and started running. They needed to get back to their street. Quickly.
Seconds earlier, one of Emer's neighbors, Stacie Ardoin, had sent a message to the neighbor group chat. Most of the trick-or-treaters, including Emer, didn't see it. One person did. She looked down at her phone and saw Ardoin sent a picture.

"I think the Brewers are on our block," Emer's friend told the group after looking at the photo.
She turned her phone around, showing everyone what Ardoin sent. It was a selfie, her standing next to trick-or-treaters. Who just so happened to be Jake Bauers, Andrew Vaughn, Grant Anderson, DL Hall and Sal Frelick.
Lindsay Emer's neighbor, Stacie Ardoin, sent her selfie with Brewers Jake Bauers, Andrew Vaughn, Sal Frelick, DL Hall and Grant Anderson to the neighborhood group chat.
Three days after winning the World Series, and one day after throwing the biggest party Wisconsin has ever seen , these MLB champions were trick-or-treating. Everyone in the group − yes, even the children − agreed. A picture with the Milwaukee Brewers trumped any amount of candy they could get.

"Immediately it was like, 'All right, we got to go,'" Mike Emer, Lindsay's husband told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
They started running back to Auburn Avenue in Wauwatosa, between 70th and 72nd street, where they all live. A couple minutes later, they made it, slowing down when they got close to meet them as normal as possible.

Frelick and Vaughn were matching beer mugs. Hall was an astronaut. Bauers, who was with his kids, didn't dress up. Neither did Anderson.
"Word on the street is that Vaughn lives in our neighborhood," Lindsay, 42, said. "But I can't confirm that."

The players happily obliged requests to take photos with both the adults and children.

Lindsay got one with her, her 8-year-old daughter Scarlett, and Frelick. Then, Vaughn got in the frame for a second. Isaac, Lindsay's 6-year-old son, got one with Bauers, and another with Hall and Vaughn.
"They were really nice. Very laid back," Lindsay said. "They just seemed like they were doing their thing and being parents, and were very sweet when we asked for a couple of photos."

Hoping to let the players trick-or-treat in peace, Lindsay kept the interaction brief and chose not to inundate them with questions. Mike asked one, to Frelick, about how he was doing on his proclamation to drink 100,000 beers.

"I'm working on it," Frelick responded, not specifying a remaining number.
