After signing United Football League pass rusher Ron Stone Jr. , the Denver Broncos have cut a veteran wide receiver to make room for him.
The Broncos waived receiver Hakeem Butler on Tuesday, according to the Denver Post 's Parker Gabriel . Butler (6-5, 242 pounds) starred in the XFL and UFL from 2023-2026, but he struggled to make an impact with the Broncos during preseason. It was easy to see the writing on the wall for Butler after his underwhelming preseason performances.
