The Denver Broncos are parting ways with veteran wide receiver Michael Woods.
Woods (6-1, 204 pounds) has been removed from the team's injured reserve list with an injury settlement, according to the Denver Post 's Parker Gabriel . Denver originally waived/injured Woods on June 16, and he reverted to the team's season-ending IR list after clearing waivers.
Now that he has received an injury settlement, Woods is off the IR list and a free agent. He is not immediately eligible to re-sign with the Broncos , but he could be a candidate to potentially return later this summer. Woods will also be eligible to sign with other teams once healthy.
The 26-year-old receiver has spent time with three clubs in his career, totaling 12 receptions for 110 yards in 15 games. Denver's remaining receivers on the roster are Courtland Sutton , Jaylen Waddle , Pat Bryant , Marvin Mims , Troy Franklin , Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Michael Bandy , Hakeem Butler , Joseph Manjack , Dane Key , Cam Ross and Kolbe Katsis .
