The Denver Broncos have called up one reinforcement from the practice squad ahead of their regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers .
The Broncos elevated linebacker Levelle Bailey from the practice squad to the game-day roster for Week 18. He will revert back to the practice squad on Monday. Bailey adds more depth with linebacker Dre Greenlaw ( hamstring ) ruled out.
NFL teams are allowed to elevate up to two players to the game-day roster each week, and those players do not have to clear waivers before returning to the practice squad. However, there is a three-elevation limit per player during the regular season. During the playoffs, players do not have a limit of elevations, but teams can't elevate more than two players per week.
