The Denver Broncos could be missing several defenders when they face the Carolina Panthers on the road this weekend.
Denver safety Brandon Jones ( hamstring ), defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike ( shoulder ) and cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine ( ankle ) did not practice again on Thursday, putting them all in danger of missing Sunday's game. Jones, Uwazurike and KAD all went down with injuries in a 28-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs with injuries in Week 8.
Meanwhile, safety Talanoa Hufanga ( ankle ) upgraded to being a limited participant on Thursday. Taylor Rapp and Devon Key would be the most likely candidates to start if Jones can't play this week. Jordan Jackson could be a candidate for playing time if Uwazurike isn't cleared.
Elsewhere on the injury front, wide receivers Pat Bryant ( ankle ; injured reserve) and Jaylen Waddle ( chest ) continue to practice. Bryant appears to be on track to be activated to the 53-man roster on Saturday.
Denver's scheduled to practice again on Friday before releasing a final injury report with game statuses for Sunday's showdown with the Panthers .
