The Broncos officially announced the signing on Friday, making Anderson their first outside free agent signing of 2026. Denver was the last team in the NFL to sign a free agent from another club this offseason.
Anderson (6-2, 205 pounds) spent the first four years of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals . He was a kicking game ace in Cincinnati, earning special teams grades of 83.4, 82.6 and 88.7 from Pro Football Focus from 2023-2025. PFF credits Anderson with 850 special teams snaps over three seasons, including 382 last fall.
He figures to serve a key special teams role with the Broncos, and after P.J. Locke left during free agency , Anderson should get an opportunity to compete for the No. 3 safety job this summer.
