After the 2022 season, Throckmorton signed with the NFC South rival Carolina Panthers , where he played in nine games (seven starts) with Carolina before being waived and claimed by the Tennessee Titans midway through the season. He dressed for six games in Tennessee, playing a grand total of 78 snaps , per Pro Football Reference.
Broncos tenure:Throckmorton reunited with former Saints head coach Sean Payton as a free agent, signing a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos in 2024. Throckmorton played 15 total snaps on offense and special teams ( per PFR ) in his first season in Denver. In 2025, Throckmorton dressed for 10 games, seeing his usage increase slightly.
Chances to make the 53-man roster:Toss-up. In Broncos Wire 's way-too-early 53-man roster prediction , Throckmorton was not projected to make the active roster, which could make him a candidate to spend another season on the practice squad. Throckmorton could always seek greener pastures elsewhere if things don't work out in Denver come roster cuts in August.
