Patrice Bergeron impersonators finally have their moment. The Boston Bruins announced the details for their 2026 Fan Fest tour Monday, and one unusual competition will give a lucky fan the opportunity to attend one of the most anticipated nights of the upcoming season.
Boston will hold a Patrice Bergeron Look-A-Like Contest during its Fan Fest stop at Rocky Point State Park in Warwick, R.I., on Saturday, Sept. 12. Fans are invited to arrive in costume and give their best impression of the legendary Bruins captain. The winner will receive two tickets to Bergeron's number retirement ceremony at TD Garden on Dec. 1.
Contestants seemingly have several options. They could arrive wearing Bergeron's familiar No. 37 sweater, recreate his game-day look or attempt to copy the playoff beard he wore during some of Boston's deepest postseason runs. Whatever approach they choose, fans must attend the Warwick event in costume to be eligible.
The contest will help the Bruins begin their season-long celebration of Bergeron, whose number retirement will be one of the most emotional events on Boston's 2026-27 schedule.
Bruins Taking Fan Fest Beyond Boston
The Bergeron contest is only one piece of the Bruins' two-day Fan Fest tour. Boston will bring the event to Warwick for the first time on Sept. 12. The festivities will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET at Rocky Point State Park.
The Bruins then will travel to Worcester Common in Worcester, Mass., on Sunday, Sept. 13. That event also will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET. Admission to both locations is free. Fans are encouraged to preregister through the Bruins' official website to expedite entry.
Bruins players and alumni are expected to appear at the events, although the team did not immediately announce a complete list of participants. Fans also will have opportunities to play interactive hockey games, visit exhibits and purchase team merchandise. The Boston Bruins Foundation will bring its BFit Combine to both locations. The attraction includes kid-friendly fitness and wellness stations designed to teach exercises that families can perform at home.
Food trucks and local eateries also will be represented at both stops.
"The Boston Bruins organization is so excited to bring the spirit of the Black & Gold to Warwick, R.I., and Worcester for this summer's Fan Fest," Bruins vice president of marketing Andrea Mazzarelli said in the team's announcement.
Mazzarelli added that the organization wants to create experiences for Bruins fans in communities beyond TD Garden while building excitement for the new season.

Fans Can Create Their Own Bruins Trading Cards
Fans also will have the chance to leave Fan Fest with a personalized Bruins collectible. TD will operate an attraction allowing attendees to design their own hockey trading cards. Fans can take a photo and choose from styles inspired by different eras of Bruins history.
TD cardholders also can visit the company's tent for Bruins-themed giveaways. NESN will participate in both Fan Fest stops, with on-air talent scheduled to join the festivities.
The weekend will give Bruins fans an early opportunity to celebrate the approaching season. Boston is scheduled to begin its 2026-27 campaign against the New York Rangers at TD Garden on Sept. 29. Before that opener arrives, the Bruins will take their show on the road. For one convincing Bergeron look-alike, the journey will end with two seats inside TD Garden when No. 37 rises to the rafters.
